After you install and launch it, have it hide the server list on launch.
 Restart the program.

Then type in '/server irc.wyldryde.org' without the '.

Then type '/join #AdventTruth', again without the '.

To set your nick, just type '/nick [name]' where [name] is well, your name :P.
